Everybody's crazy.

“and that’s the way; uh-huh un-huh i like it”

Indeed.

Dead Men

This series gets loads of hate and badmouthing, and most of the time people don’t give a reason “I don’t like it because it sucks” (never heard Ebert or Roeper describe a movie like that) or they give one poor reason “they swear too much”. The lead characters are fugitives in the middle of a shit storm; ‘oh darn it, these cops and violent gang members are such a nuisance’ would be really out of place.

Honestly, I loved both games (Dead Men and Dog Days). They’re pretty original ideas with intriguing characters and an intense story. I wish the series was received better rather than people immediately dissing it because it was too hard or due to the whole ordeal with gamespot and the fat fuck that got fired. Of course gamespot didn’t care for it it wasn’t Halo, Gears of War, or Call of Duty. The reviewer got canned because he was bollocks and couldn’t do his job well (I’d seen some of his other reviews and always thought he was a buffoon), ign’s reviews are usually more accurate in my opinion, although you have to choose for yourself because ya may love something most people don’t care for; suum cuique (to each their own).I have no problem if people don’t like the games, it’s your choice, but to nitpick everything and jump on the bandwagon of all the ones who never even gave it a chance is just ignorant. For once I’d like to read a well constructed critique of the game that shows at least a semi-intelligent perspective.

Dog Days. This young fella right here stayin on his TPS Report grind.

Christopher Walken reading The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe. Edgar Allen Poe’s work + Christopher Walken = double awesome.

Since most of my posts today have been involved Christopher Walken impressions, I thought I might as well repost this video of him doing a spoken word version of Lady Gaga’s Poker Face.
